What is Canonic?
Canonic is a fully on-chain Midpoint Anchored Order Book (MAOB) exchange - an order book exchange that anchors limit orders to an external oracle's midpoint point price. Makers dont quote prices, makers quote spreads.
Canonic is a spot exchange, not a perpetuals exchange: no leverage, no funding payments, and no liquidation engine.

Canonic was built from first principles to tackle the challenges of bringing an order book exchange completely onto the blockchain while meticulously optimizing for gas performance and scalability.
